thank you for _________!
What we learned today: "Wars are too important to be left to the generals."
Sorry Rumsfeld, you had to go. Ironically, to me at least, it seems the elections could have turned more in the Republican's favor if he just would have stepped down a month ago. My personal opinions aside, it's hard to argue that this administration hasn't gone down in flames. Where's the leadership today? I don't care what your politics are, just tell me where the leadership is. It's non-existent.
It's still waaaay too early for Christmas. To the radio station here in town, quit playing that 24/7 Christmas music. At least wait until December. To my neighbors, take down those stupid Christmas lights. Everyone knows lights shouldn't be put up until Thanksgiving weekend. The holidays are hard enough without beginning in October. Geez!!
So I got this promotion at work and apparently I'm now on the grapevine. People I don't know are congratulating me. I knew this job was the right thing to do! Did I ever tell you that I'm a business woman? I got a fancy briefcase and a no nonsense attitude. I walk around with a little earpiece thingy talking on my cell phone. When people think I am talking to them, I look at them disdainfully because they are obviously not business people. I got a desk with drawers that lock. That's where I keep all my important business documents. Sometimes I wear my glasses at work just to make me look smarter. I'll work straight through my breaks if I feel like it, because I'm a BUSINESS WOMAN!
This is me on my way to an important place with some important business. I'm always checking my watch because I've got places to be!I'm pretty sure we all know that ska music is the funnest to dance to and therefore ska concerts are super fun. But maybe you aren't so confident. Maybe you've been to the ska concert, and you've wanted to dance but you just didn't know how. Don't worry about it! Just let loose and follow these five simple steps. And remember, if we've learned anything from America's Next Top Model this season, always fully commit. Nothing is worse than a half-hearted ska dance.
Barbara says: Don't let a grown-up pride hide all the need inside. Be a person who needs people!
Now I gotta go watch this documentary on drugs through history on the history channel because I'm all business.
P.S. They made a lot of movies with people smoking marijuana and getting high in the 20s and 30s. Bet you didn't know that.
P.S.S.
| Your Birthdate: February 21 |
![]() You're a restless rebel with an unpredictable nature. Bright but unbridled, you tend to seek out wild experiences over new ideas. People are frustrated by your great potential, but you love your unconventional life. You're a heartbreaker. People get attached to you, and then you're gone. Your strength: Your thirst for adventure Your weakness: Not taking time for slow pleasures Your power color: Hot pink Your power symbol: Figure eight Your power month: March |
P.S.S.S. I know it should really be P.P.P.S. but I just like it better with S.
P.S.S.S.S. So it turns out in WW2 the German army was on methamphetamines and that's how they covered so much ground and never stopped, according to this documentary.

I saw that documentry. It was really interesting but it made me want to take drugs. I'd love to have snorted coke with Freud.
my power symbol is Thor's Hammer
Should I start calling you Ms. Horst?
You already got a promotion? That's great! Do you really wear one of those obnoxious Blue Tooth ear pieces, or are you just funning us?
Congratulations on your promotion, rebel woman! ;p
It's my first time to stumble upon your blog and found it greatly amusing. Keep at it! c",)
